Sounds crazy merely try vegetable oil. It works to go off price stickers and so it may neutralize the chalk. Couldn't hurt the siding. Just may want to follow with a mild soap wash to remove oil.

WD40 will exercise same with adhesives, but this is dry chalk ( unless Kathy is mis-spelling Caulk) which is an brine ( base of operations) so an acid ( vinegar) would neutralize it and break the bail. If it is actually caulk, the answer would depend on what kind information technology is.

Come on gang....so your telling this poor lady to scrub her entire vinyl home to get the oxidation off? Do you realize how long that would have her and how dangerous that would be on high ladders? Delight call a professional and have it done right.

I'1000 own a paint visitor and we clean vinyl a lot. Use ane/2 cup laundry lather( I perfer liquid Tide), 2-three cups vinger,one/iv gal. Clorox.ln a five gal.bucket mix ingredients and top off saucepan with water upward to around 4 gal. Spray on siding with graden sprayer( from lesser to top). Scrup with soft brush or use force per unit area washer with calorie-free pressure. Practice this every spring and will keep yous siding in good shape.
